Funny Spanish TV Ad Involves Filipinos
I believe Carlos was the first Philippine blogger to post this Metro de Madrid TV advertisement of how the citizens of the small town of what I think is Madrid, Surigao del Sur were inspired by a local citizen who just happened to come back from Madrid, Spain to build their own version of that city’s subway system.
Adobo Magazine says this TVC was filmed on location not in Surigao del Sur but in Benguet.
Come to think of it, I don’t have such a pleasant memory of Madrid’s subway system – a thief stole my wallet at the Sol station several years ago.
As expected, some find this TVC condescending and if you look at it from that angle why yes, its true. If you don’t look at it too seriously, on the other hand, this Madrid Metro TVC is funny and as Carlos puts it, silly.
